Description

This is a ZIP archive containing Python scripts and documentation for building and configuring mosaic datasets containing imagery from the Sentinel2 satellite.  This script requires ArcGIS Desktop 10.4 or later.  If an optional patch is added, this script is compatible with ArcGIS Desktop 10.3.1.  The 10.3.1 patch is available for download here.  Sample data from Sentinel2 is not included with this script due to large file sizes, but data can be downloaded from the Sentinel site here.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  As noted here, the Sentinel2 file format was changed on December 6, 2016.  The Sentinel2 Raster Type built into ArcGIS 10.4 was designed for the original (now deprecated) file format.   Until the Raster Type is updated, the scripts included in this download will not properly recognize the new format.  Sentinel2 scenes recorded after December 6 can be used in ArcGIS as raster datasets (one file per spectral band), but metadata fields will not be populated.   Sentinel2 scenes recorded before December 6 will continue to be fully supported.
