Therefore, ArcGIS programs are programs that are concerned with collecting, analyzing, and storing geographical phenomena and outputting them in the form of reports and maps to help decision makers make their decisions in the field of geographical phenomena.
The most important of these programs:
- ArcMap: It is the basic program in ArcGIS programs and the starting point for any goal. It deals with all types of geographical databases, maps and graphics in terms of data entry and code.
- ArcToolbox: is a program for dealing with all files of the ArcGIS software environment It is the main source for all tools that aim at spatial and descriptive analysis and maps the results in the form of maps, tables, layers or geographical databases.
- ArcCatalog: Responsible for managing, adding, deleting, moving, and copying all files used in the ArcGIS software environment.
- ArcScene: The program that is concerned with raising layers from two-dimensionality to three-dimensionality, as it specializes in showing all three-dimensional geographical phenomena.
- Arcglobe: It is concerned with presenting geographical phenomena on the surface of the globe.

If after downloading the ArcGIS software download file and the lifetime activation file, as in the following picture, we do the download steps in order:
- Go to the ArcGIS 10.8 software download file and open the program's activation File.
1. The download interface opens, we click Next.
2. After completing this process, press Next.
3. In this interface, click Next.

5. Choose where to save the ArcGIS programs on your computer.
6. Then click on Next.
7. We click on Install.
9. After completion, click on Finish.
10. This interface appears and we close it.
11. We decompress the activation file, then enter it and copy the file inside.
12. We paste the file into the bin file where the programs are downloaded.
13. We click on Replace.
